Executive Director

The Executive Director (ED) is hired by The Samaritan Counseling Center Board of Directors (BOD) and reports to the board.  The ED is responsible for the overall leadership and operations of the Center. This includes counseling services, administrative services, marketing, and public relations.

The Executive Director also personally provides counseling and therapy at the Samaritan Counseling Center for a pre-determined number of sessions per week.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

REQUIRED

• Current behavioral health license in the state of Michigan
• Effective organizational, management and leadership skills
• Effective communication skills

PREFERRED

• Knowledge and experience in the management of a nonprofit organization
• 3-5 years of recent clinical experience
• Experience with fundraising

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Provide a minimum of 10 clinical sessions weekly, compensated at a 70% fee split
• Receive an annual salary of $40,000 for the Executive Director responsibilities
• Vacation, Paid Personal Time (PPT) and Holidays
